Polar Bears Can Swim For More Than 60 Miles?

Who'd a thunk it. According to Sea World...

Polar bears are strong swimmers; they swim across bays or wide leads without hesitation. They can swim for several hours at a time over long distances. They've been tracked swimming continuously for 100 km (62 mi.)
But Al Gore's cheesy animation shows them drowning. Could it be another fib? So it ain't so Al!

the one thing I see that they don't mention is the fact that even if they can swim 62 miles if they can't find food on the land between the water they won't have the energy to swim. And when they sleep they need land, land for them is ice. Ice is disapearing.
